Doris Mari Demetriadou (b.1997, Nicosia, Cyprus) is a multidisciplinary artist, inquiring into the psyche and its expansive field of energy. Working through perception as a mode of reasoning, she teases out the irrational through symbolic objects, visual expressions, and participatory action, in an effort to provoke cognitive illusions, and mirror dissonance.
Since 2018, Doris has been a member of Endrosia: an interdisciplinary collective working with long-term research projects, zines and publications, while hosting exhibitions and events at a project space in Nicosia. Endrosia was part of the Cypriot representation at the 2024 Venice Biennale.
Doris holds a BA (HONS) in Fashion Marketing and Communication (UK) and is currently graduating from Design at Sandberg Institute (NL).
