A Portrait of a Dreamer
Paintings & Sculpture
Instigate a questioning in being, memory and thought. Sometimes in an effort to bring the unseen into awareness, other times to playfully mock our psychosomatic tendencies. To observe the parts of ourselves that act as cynical creatures simulating life through a betrayed heart.
The pieces were initially created as abstract freehand drawings and, following Carl Gustav Jung’s concept of Active Imagination, were later developed through the process of free association. An attempt to establish a conscious line of communication with one’s subconscious.
